Richard has been a Partner in Devaney & Durkin for over 20 years. He has given evidence for multiple company valuations and regularly gives evidence in the High Court, Commercial Court, Family Law Courts and criminal courts. He has served as auditor to a large portfolio of Irish companies, as tax advisor to Irish and multinational companies, and has delivered expert tax advice to high-net-worth individuals across multiple jurisdictions. He has been a Director of the London Stock Exchange's Irish operations, a member of the Irish Pharmacy Council, and Global Management Accountant for Solution 6, a one-billion-dollar software company headquartered in Sydney. He is a former Treasurer and Board Member of the Irish chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and as a panel member of the Decision Support Services which is one of the leading Decision Making Representatives appointed by the courts to manage the finances of those unable to do so themselves. Richard is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a Diploma in Forensic Accounting, a Certificate of Insolvency and a Certificate in Pension Scheme Trusteeship. He holds a BSc in Physics, an Honours BCom and an Honours Postgraduate Diploma in Business from NUI Galway.
